Dear Beverly,

Love farming conferences but loathe the travel and the costs? The National Farmers Union (NFU) invites you to join their upcoming virtual beginning farmer conference this December 4-7th, called "Growing for the Future". We hope you can participate in this unique and convenient learning experience from the comfort of your own home. Not only will you save time and money by participating virtually, you will also save a bit of fossil fuels by not traveling.

Each day brings a different topic area from leaders in the field, streaming live during the afternoons. While the topic areas are designed for beginning farmers and ranchers, there is useful knowledge to be gained for even experienced ones.

Oh- and did I mention it is FREE?!?

This conference features experts and thought leaders from around the country. The topics and speakers include (tentative agenda):

Monday, December 4th

Mighty Axe Hops: Access to Land as a Beginning Farmer Eric Sannerud.
Farm Services Agency (FSA): Access to Capital Sarah Campbell.
National Young Farmer Coalition: FSMA Produce Safety Rule – Are You in or Are You Out? Cara Fraver.

Tuesday, December 5th

Thursday, December 7th

Register ahead of time so you can receive the login information for joining the conference. Even if you are unsure if you can make all four days, sign up anyways. That way you can pop in when you have time. Use this link to sign up!

Here's to a sustainable farming future!
